This 1991 Volkswagen Corrado G60 has been registered in California since new, and it has 77k miles. The car is finished in Nugget Yellow over gray vinyl and patterned cloth, and it is powered by a supercharged 1.8-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes NEUSPEED engine and suspension components, Zender 15″ wheels, a Schrick high-capacity finned aluminum oil pan, a Techtonics exhaust system, an Autopower roll bar, a Blaupunkt stereo, and a NEUSPEED steering wheel, shifter, and pedals.

The body is finished in Nugget Yellow (LK1B) and features a speed-activated rear spoiler. A roof-mounted antenna, a sliding sunroof, and a rear wiper are additional elements. The rear VW emblem has been removed.

Zender eight-spoke 15″ aluminum wheels are mounted with 205/50 Falken Azenis tires showing 2020 production date codes. The car has Bilstein Rally dampers in addition to NEUSPEED race springs and stabilizer bars, and the four-wheel disc brakes are fitted with braided stainless-steel lines.

The bolstered sport seats are trimmed in gray vinyl with gray patterned velour inserts, and the cabin has an Autopower roll bar, a Schroth harness, a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR46 stereo, a NEUSPEED shifter and pedals, air conditioning, folding rear seats, and power accessories. The rear cargo light does not function, and cracks are noted on an outer bolster of the driver’s seat.

A leather-wrapped NEUSPEED steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 77k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The supercharged 1.8-liter inline-four sends power to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in October 2022, however, various aftermarket engine components installed are not CARB-compliant. Reported modifications to the drivetrain include:

  • NEUSPEED HP II kit
  • NEUSPEED P-Chip, 260-degree camshaft, and P-Flow intake
  • Velocity overbore throttle body and lightweight flywheel
  • Sachs sport clutch assembly
  • Techtonics exhaust system
  • Magnecore spark plug wires
  • Samco boost and cooling hoses
  • Schrick oil pan
