An excellent example of a true legend in World Rally Competition, this is a Japanese market car that we have just legally imported into the US under the 25-year rule.  This EVO 1 comes from Japan with only 106k kilometers (63k miles), completely stock and all original.  Japan market cars are typically very well maintained due to stringent local regulations and this car is a fine example with a detailed service history.  The car has just been fully inspected, all minor issues addressed and maintenance is up to date.

The stunning Lord Blue exterior is in very good condition. There is no current structural rust and no evidence of prior rust repairs, nor any stress cracks in the unibody or exterior panels. Paint very nice and the body is straight and sound. The interior shows little wear and features rally style seats upholstered in grey Alcantara with grey carpets, door panels and headliner. 

The impressive dashboard is in great shape with a full complement of instruments.  There is the original Evo1 three-spoked, leather-wrapped steering wheel fitted to the steering column. A Japanese market Alpine audio head unit with CD player has been installed.  

The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder is transversely mounted and sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The AWD system features a 57/43 torque split, Ferguson viscous coupling, and a Torsen rear differential. Running character features a strong and linear torque curve with an exhilarating top end surge and an exciting exhaust note that is distinctly Italian.

The car starts, idles, runs and handles like new and is in overall excellent mechanical condition.  Steering is tight, smooth and accurate, the brakes are very sure and strong with a solid pedal.  Everything works, no mechanical or electrical issues.

Dunlop Direzza Z3 Sport performance tires are brand new and mounted on the attractive original alloy wheels.  The original space saver spare and tire change kit are included.

The 1993 EVO 1 version of the Delta Integrale is the final homologation model produced and considered by many to be the best all-around version.  This rally homologation model carries a 2.0 liter turbocharged DOHC engine delivering 210 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque through a 5-speed manual transmission to all four wheels. 0 - 60 acceleration is quoted at 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 137mph.  Roadholding, agility and overall performance are of a very high order. This is a thrilling car to drive.

An excellent example of a true legend in World Rally Competition.  An incredible driving experience. A very unique and enjoyable car in excellent condition, very well maintained with no known mechanical issues.  In Europe the Delta Integrale EVO 1 has earned a good reputation and is generally regarded to be reliable and dependable.  Parts availability is quite good and, despite the advanced technology, the EVO 1 is considered simple and straightforward to service.

All import paperwork is in order. Please note this car comes with a valid Washington title and registration. Cannot be registered in California as is but options are available.  Registration in most states should not be an issue, please check local regulations.
