Throughout the production run Lancia introduced many “Special Edition” versions of the EVO to appeal to the very individual fans of the series and collectors, who prize limited production models. There were several Martini livery editions, unique color treatments such as the Giallo Ginestra and Pearla Bianco models, the “Dealer Collection” with limited distribution, and finally the “Final Edition” sold only in Japan, where the Delta Integrale has been particularly successful over the years.  Only 250 of these were produced and they are considered the “Holy Grail” of EVOs by many collectors.

This EVO ll is a truly remarkable car, #27 in the series of 250 units built. Only two owners since new, very well documented history and in superb overall condition.

All examples of the  Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II Collezione Final Edition were based on the top trim level Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II with many standard features.  These include 16” gunmetal color wheels, carbon fiber accents, silver gauge trim, a pushbutton starter and  black alcantara faux suede Recaro seats.  The dynamic color scheme features rich Bordeaux Red accented with thin yellow and blue racing stripes.

Each Final Edition model is identified by a stamped number plate next to the shifter and a grille badge. All Final Edition models were mechanically identical to the top spec Evo II and carried the same powerful 215 HP (314Nm) turbo engine and drivetrain as its non-limited edition cousin.

Japan market cars are typically very well maintained due to stringent local regulations and this car is a fine example.  Pending USA arrival and our full inspection, reconditioning and servicing, it is reported to be in very good condition cosmetically and in sound mechanical condition. 

The unique paint and black alcantara interior are original and in good condition. There is no current rust and no evidence of prior rust repairs, nor any stress cracks in the unibody or exterior panels.  The body is straight and sound.  The deeply bolstered Recaro seats are in very good condition. Rear cabin and all door panels are in excellent condition.

The dashboard is in great shape with an impressive complement of instruments.  There is a  leather-wrapped Momo steering wheel and a Japanese market audio unit.

Tires are good and mounted on 16” OEM wheels. 

 An excellent example of a true legend in World Rally Competition.  All import paperwork is in order. This car will come with a valid Vermont registration, Vermont plates and a bill of sale.  Please note that Vermont does not produce titles for cars that are more than 15 years old.  Registration in most states should not be an issue, but please check local regulations.

The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder is transversely mounted and sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The AWD system features a 57/43 torque split, Ferguson viscous coupling, and a Torsen rear differential. The engine bay is neat and tidy and appears well sorted.  Running character features a strong and linear torque curve with an exhilarating top end surge and an exciting exhaust note that is distinctly Italian.

In Europe the Delta Integrale EVO II has earned a good reputation and is generally regarded to be reliable and dependable.  Parts availability is quite good and, despite he advanced technology, the EVO II is considered simple and straightforward to service.
