Special Edition Last Production Road Version of Legendary Rally Champion

This EVO ll is a very special edition, This limited production series - the “Dealers Collection“- was only made available to Lancia dealers.  This car is one of only 173 ever built.  Unique trim and features for this special edition include rich metallic burgundy paintwork, full leather interior of supple Italian hides, HF logos embossed into the headrests and OMP logos on the alloy pedals and passenger rally footrest.  It comes from a Japanese collection with 96k kilometers (59k miles).  Japan market cars are typically very well maintained due to stringent local regulations and this car is a fine example.  Pending USA arrival and our full inspection, reconditioning and servicing, it is reported to be in very good condition cosmetically and in sound mechanical condition. 

 The unique paint and contrasting tan interior are original and in good condition. There is no current rust and no evidence of prior rust repairs, nor any stress cracks in the unibody or exterior panels.  The body is straight and sound.  The deeply bolstered Recaro seats are in nice shape. Rear cabin and all door panels are in excellent condition.

 The dashboard is in great shape with an impressive complement of instruments.  There is a  leather-wrapped Momo steering wheel and a Japanese market DVD video and audio unit.

Brand new tires are mounted on 17” OEM wheels. 

 An excellent example of a true legend in World Rally Competition.  All import paperwork is in order. This car will come with a valid Vermont registration, Vermont plates and a bill of sale.  Please note that Vermont does not produce titles for cars that are more than 15 years old.  Registration in most states should not be an issue, but please check local regulations.

 The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder is transversely mounted and sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The AWD system features a 57/43 torque split, Ferguson viscous coupling, and a Torsen rear differential. The engine bay is neat and tidy and appears well sorted.  Running character features a strong and linear torque curve with an exhilarating top end surge and an exciting exhaust note that is distinctly Italian.

In Europe the Delta Integrale EVO II has earned a good reputation and is generally regarded to be reliable and dependable.  Parts availability is quite good and, despite he advanced technology, the EVO II is considered simple and straightforward to service.

EVO ll DETAILS  >>>>>>>>>>

The EVO II version of the Delta Integrale is the final model produced and offered mechanical and cosmetic upgrades.  This model carries a 2.0 liter turbocharged DOHC engine delivering 215 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque through a 5-speed manual transmission to all four wheels. 0 - 60 acceleration is quoted at 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 137mph.  This final version of the engine features an advanced engine control system and catalytic converter.  Roadholding, agility and overall performance are of a very high order. This is an amazing car to drive.

DELTA Integrale EVO II

The last model in the Integrale series was the Evoluzione II was released in June 1993. This version was never raced by the factory and offered improved sound insulation and many detail improvements in the interior.  This second Evolution version of the Delta HF Integrale featured an updated 2-litre 16-valve turbo engine to produce more power, as well as a three-way catalyst and Lambda probe.  Several detail upgrades were also included via a Marelli integrated engine control system incorporating :

  • Timed sequential multipoint injection
  • Automatic idling control
  • Engine protection strategies depending on the temperature of intake air
  • Mapped ignition with two double outlet coils
  • Three-way catalyst and pre-catalyst with lambda probe (oxygen sensor)
  • Anti-evaporation system with air line for canister flushing optimized for the turbo engine
  • New Garrett turbocharger: water-cooled with boost controlled by feedback from the central control unit on the basis of revs/throttle angle
  • Knock control by engine block sensor and new signal handling software for spark park advance, fuel quantity injected, and turbocharging

 The engine developed 215 PS (158 kW) DIN (against 210 PS on the earlier uncatalysed version) and maximum torque of 32 kgf·m (314 N·m) (formerly 31 kgf·m or 300 N·m).

 The 1993 Integrale also received a cosmetic and functional facelift that included:

  • 16" light alloy rims with 205/45 ZR 16 tyres ( up from 15” wheels)
  • Body color roof moulding
  • Aluminium fuel cap and air-intake grilles on the front mudguards
  • Red-painted cylinder head
  • New Design Leather-covered three-spoke MOMO steering wheel
  • Standard Recaro seats upholstered in beige Alcantara with diagonal stitching.
