1995 Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 [ECC-210]
A rare and very special Alfa Romeo, this 155 Q4 features the AWD powertrain and chassis of the Lancia Delta Integrale in an Alfa Romeo body. One of only 110 Series 2 Q4s built this excellent example shows only 42k miles. We discovered this fascinating and well-kept car in a Japanese collection and imported it to the US.
It has benefitted from a recent professional restoration and full service and is ready to enjoy and enchant. The Q4 is a very attractive design from the wedge school of the 1990’s. Stunning presentation showing a new paint finish in Rosso Proteo (burgundy metallic). The restoration included exterior trim and rubber bits as required. The interior is in very clean condition and features factory Recaro seats and full instrumentation. Overall cosmetic condition is very well preserved and quite attractive. The car has an aftermarket Alcantara racing wheel, the original is also included with the car.
The car is fitted with new coil-overs (original shocks included) and the chassis rolls on Lancia Delta Integrale rims fitted with new tires. The original rims are available as well, please inquire for details. The car has just received a full service including all belts and a tune up. Runs great and handles with the intuitive response the rally champion Delta Integrale is famous for.
This Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 combines the exhilarating performance and nimble handling of a WRC Rally car and the investment potential of true rarity. Ready to enjoy as a practical sports sedan with a unique personality.

MODEL HISTORY Alfa Romeo 155 Quadrifolio 4
The Alfa Romeo 155 (Type 167) is a compact executive car produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo between 1992 and 1998. It was unveiled in January 1992 at Barcelona, with the first public launch in March 1992, at the Geneva Motor Show.
Developed to replace the 75 and based on the parent company Fiat Group's Type Three platform, the 155 was somewhat larger in dimension than the 75 and had evolved styling from that of its predecessor. The 155 was designed by Italian design house I.DE.A Institute. An exceptional drag coefficient of 0.29 was achieved with the body design.
In addition to several front drive models the Alfa Romeo 155 Quadrafolio 4 was introduced as a top of the line model featuring the all wheel drive platform and turbocharged engine from the Lancia Delta Integrale EVO. It was essentially a Lancia Delta Integrale with a different body.
The Q4 version featured a 2.0 liter turborcharged engine capable of 187 horsepower and, unlike the front wheel drive 155, sported an AWD drivetrain. Capable of a 140 mph top speed and a 0-100 kph in around 7 seconds, it's little wonder that the 155 had racing success.
Like the Lancia Delta Integrale the Q4 also incorporated three differentials (normal at the front, epicyclic at the centre (including a Ferguson viscous coupling) and Torsen self-locking at the rear). Both the 2.5 V6 and Q4 models were also available with electronically adjustable suspension with two damper settings (automatic and sport).
In 1995, the 155 was given an extensive revamp noted as the series 2, resulting in wider front and rear tracks with subtle enlargement to the wheel arches to accommodate the changes underneath. The Q4 Series 2 was a very limited production of only 110 cars before the model was discontinued.
Production of the front drive models continued until 1998 when it was replaced by the Alfa Romeo 156.
