1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1.6 Super Bollino Oro (ECC-043)

We recently found and purchased this incredible 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1.6 Super Bollino Oro in Macerata, Italy. This is a real Giulia Super (tipo 105.26) with its original engine. Alfa’s intention with the Bollino Oro was to commercialize the sporting successes of the earlier Giulia Ti Super (type 105.16). The car has had a complete engine rebuild and, with 100 kilometers since the rebuild, it is still in its break in mode. The engine rebuild included:

• New rods and pistons
• New piston rings
• New bushings & connecting rod
• New Cylinder Sleeves
• Grinded valves and new valve stem seals
• Resurfaced head
• New water pump
• Rebuilt carburetors
• All engine gaskets replaced
• New transmission shaft support
• New clutch
• Rebuilt brake booster
• Rebuilt master cylinder

The car has its original medium metallic gray color (grigio medio metallizzato) and skai “boar” interior (skai cuoio cinghiale). This car also has an interesting ownership in Paolo Soprani, noted Italian accordian manufacturer, as the original owner. The car needs nothing and runs perfectly.
